Couture millinery Crafted By Hand In London

Established in 2003, Jane Taylor London has become synonymous with stylish and elegant hats and headpieces.

Worn by everyone from Beyoncé to members of the British and European Royal families including the Princess of Wales, Jane Taylor Millinery produces stunning ranges of bespoke iconic hats and headpieces.

Jane’s love of sculpture, art & textiles led her to create hats. She secured her embroidery degree at Manchester Art School and went on to study Millinery at Chelsea & Kensington College. She then went on to train with Marie O’Regan, the Queen’s Milliner.

Jane started her business from her childhood home and initially sold it locally. She moved to London in 2007 and grew her empire whilst living on a narrowboat near Kew. Seven years later she successfully launched her boutique on the Kings Road and has just launched an atelier on Walton Street among fashion's finest establishments.

Empowering the wearer

Is at the core of what Jane Taylor aspires to do for every client. Jane is acutely aware of the power a hat can give you to express your confidence and elevate your look.

Her designs are worn by The Royal Family and celebrities in the music and film industry.

Her royal clientele includes The Princess of Wales, Zara Tindall, The Duchess of Edinburgh and Princess Eugenie. Indeed, the Countess of Wessex has exclusively worn Jane Taylor’s designs since 2009.

The Princess of Wales has also worn Jane Taylor on numerous occasions; the christenings of all her children, the Diamond Jubilee Service, the Trooping of the Colour, and the tour of the Solomon Isles, Australia, and New Zealand to name but a few.

Handcrafted and sustainable

All our hats are handcrafted and made to order in our London atelier, so there is no long production line or obsolete inventory.

We believe in a long life for fashion and want our customers to buy what they love in the hopes they will cherish each design for many years.

We actively employ procedures to reduce our carbon footprint, from sourcing all materials in the UK to packing and shipping orders from our studio where everything is handmade.

We do our part to minimize any unnecessary travel at every stage of our production cycle and limit our use of animal products, using vintage materials wherever possible.
